About Our Department:
Traditionally, the State Youth Department has functioned as an outlet of ministry and fellowship to the young people of the Jurisdiction.
But now that God has begun to bless the ministries of the local churches to expland and diversify, the role of this department has been redefined.
While we recognize the need for strong youth ministry on the Jurisdictional level, we must acknowledge that the ultimate responsibility for the spiritual well being of our youth rests upon the local church.
Hence, one of the main goals of our ministry on the State level is to develop programs that will assist youth leaders in design, development and enhancement of their local ministries.
Our foremost objective is that every church in the Jurisdiction will have a youth department that can powerfully, effectively evangelize and disciple its young people that they, in turn, may reach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
