Barbara is a member of Southern California First Jurisdiction Churches of God In Christ under the leadership of Bishop Charles E. Blake. Within this organization, she serves as the Chairlady for the State Youth Department. She also serves as the Inspirational Team Chairperson for the Department of Women under the leadership of Dr. Barbara McCoo Lewis.
Barbara is also a member of the New Antioch Church of God In Christ in Los Angeles, California where the pastor and founder is Dr. James A. Lewis. She serves as President of one of the Missionary Units which is an auxillary designed to train and develop women for ministry.
